Hallo!

Ich habe eine BMW-524td 1991
Arbeitet tachometer - nicht wie wegen des Blocks Bosch 0 281 001 078 (5T6) - ich aufgeklärt wurde nahm bei dem Freund von solcher Maschine{Auto} BMW-524td 1990 und aller arbeitete sofort...

Ob man das elektrische Schema dieses Blocks finden kann?
Ob man diesen Bruch reparieren kann muß man oder sich nach anderem Block suchen?

Entschuldigen Sie für schlecht deutsch - ich aus Ukraine (studierte nur die englische Sprache) und benutze ich den elektronischen Übersetzer

I use machine with this non-working block more year - I thought that the instrument panel has broken. How I have understood except for a tachometer because of the block the engine worked incorrect also? Special I have not noticed a difference, only the charge of fuel has grown - now about 10 litres in a city mode with the conditioner...

I started to search for other block ECU Bosch 0 281 001 078. Has found some variants second-hand blocks under the prices in Ukraine: is 50$, 70$, 100$ and 150$ on different cities. As it is usual, the higest price in my city, I have tried it - the tachometer works, but I at once did not begin to buy it. I shall start to take with the lowest price and shall select workable.
There is still a variant to order new block ECU - here a difference of the prices very significant: there are origibal German variants of the block - near 2000 $ (establish on BMW service - 2 years of a guarantee) and there are like Taiwan variants of the block - from 125$ up to 200$ (but a guarantee - 7 days)

To order the block for 2000$ I shall not be exact - to change the machine easier.

I ask your recommendation about a choice between second-hand German (I so understand all of them of years till 16-18, how many it still will work?) or new Taiwan (somebody something about them heard?)

    "time is money" and I'm very busy in these weeks, but here are short answers to your both questions:

    1.) Your engine is working correctly or incorrectly? I don't know! If the ECU is not working properly, there are possible a lot of pattern indicating defects. One of them is the Problem with the tachometer. Yourself should evaluate how the engine works. Tip: Take annother ECU 0 281 001 078 and compare the caracteristics from engine (cold start, warm start, noise, torque, power, smoke, fuel consumption, ...) and car ( max. speed, ...) between the ECU's.

    2.) Sorry, I haven't got informations above the function and quality of Taiwan-Diesel-ECUs. And so I can not give a recommendation for second-hand German- or new-Taiwan-ECUs.

    Hello Alex,

    your Diesel-ECU for start of injection is not working properly. No function of the tachometer is a typical defect!

    Sorry for my bad message, but the operating principile is unknown, and so it's not possible to find the cause of trouble and to repair your ECU. You need another ECU 5T6 or 5T5.

    mir ist der Fall klar: wenn dem Alex sein Spritzbeginnsteuergerät (er nennt es "Block") vor dem "Hinscheiden" ist, dann zeigt sich das gerne durch den Ausfall des Drehzahlmessers. Mit dem Steuergerät eines Kollegen funktioniert der Drehzahlmesser, daher ist das SB-Steuergerät die Ursache.

    Es gibt zwar ein Schaltschema, aber keine Reparaturmöglichkeit für das Steuergerät. Alex braucht ein anderes SB-Steuergerät.
